The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) as part of efforts to strengthen and improve its digital banking services has introduced three new digital products namely the Contactless Card & POS Device, Web Acquiring Service and Visa Prepaid Card.
Disclosing this during the ADB Digital Banking Breakfast in Accra Dr. Kofi Mensah said the three products are all targeted at promoting a lite cash economy and give customers convenience, reliable and safe Banking.
Dr. John Kofi Mensah disclosed this at the ADB Digital Banking Breakfast Summit held July 30th 2019 in Accra.
According to Dr. Kofi Mensah, these digital services and other innovative once such the facial recognition and finger print platforms aim at providing safe and convenient services to individual customers and corporate institutions.
Dr. Kofi Mensah added that ADB has also re-introduced its Executive Banking Services to provide superior services to the bank’s prestigious customers.
“These products are aimed at offering our cherished customers the best digital banking services for speed, reliability and safety,” he said.
He explained that ADB’s digital banking services are towards realizing the president’s call for a cash lite economy and to position ADB as the digital revolution in agricultural financing in Ghana.
Regarding the reliability and safety of its digital banking services, the Head of E-business at ADB, Mr. Ebo Quayson says the Bank has subscribed to both international and local best technology platforms such as CR2 Channel Banking Software, Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems Limited (GHIPSS), Oracle, Hubtel among others which ensures that customers’ funds are safe and well managed.
He therefore urged existing customers and potential customers to trust ADB’s digital banking products and services and utilize them for their financial growth.
There was also a presentation by the Head of Treasury, Mrs. Bridgete Kimanta Nuotuo about the Bank’s treasury products and services.
